Melissa McCarthy has come a long way from her improv roots. Most recently starring as the irreverent and extremely funny Megan in 2011’s Bridesmaids (for which she was nominated for an Oscar), she has acted in a variety of film and TV roles including Gilmore Girls, Samantha Who?, The Nines and CBS’s Mike & Molly, the latter of which earned her an Emmy in 2011. An alumna of the Groundlings troupe, Melissa has been fearless in her approach to making us all laugh - an effort which has definitely paid off.
