I read your recent interview in Red magazine and looked up your show here. This was a terrific gift – like hanging out with close girlfriends as we sit down for a good chat.

I am in my 40s and have been rediscovering my inner 8 year old this past year. Jane Fonda was right; that version of me held the core truth, the most authentic version, of myself.

I allowed the desire to please and be accepted by my parents, my husband, my community and the responsibilities of raising my children to blur my own sense of self for many years. Even some of my relationships with other women impeded my self-expression, because I too often ceded my own approval for others.

This conversation came at the right time, when I had grown enough to hear the truth and recognize it as such. I’m so looking forward to watching more episodes!
