My husband and I have been together over 33 years and our roles have followed our individual interests and strengths. [some follow traditional roles, some don't] We have made “arrangements” over the years on the jobs that neither of us enjoy and that has worked well. We try very hard to help each other. If I’m having a crazy day and don’t want to cook dinner [ which I usually love to do] my husband we make one of his go to things for us B.L.T., corn fritters or something on the grill. When he’s remodeling something or fixing the cars I will go with to get the supplies, help hang the drywall or just be close by for moral support. As our kids are getting married we have a few things that we tell them and one of them is only marry someone you respect and admire and don’t get married unless you spouse adores you!
